Grassroots’ board strengthened by new trustee appointments

Grassroots Suicide Prevention have strengthened the board by appointing four new trustees, Caroline Hounsell, Steve Bulbeck, Emma Wadey and Roger De Casanove.

Each new trustee was selected for their commitment to Grassroots’ aims, their professional integrity, and proven strategic skills. Their wide range of experience is going to be invaluable in enacting the board’s governance role, and supporting Chief Executive, Stella Comber, to develop Grassroots’ business strategy.

In 2018, the expanded board will be focusing on supporting Stella and her team to explore new ways to build on Grassroots’ success so far in helping people understand suicide prevention is everyone’s business, and how to work together to make our communities safer from suicide.

We thank former trustees Jourdan Durairaj and Lisa Rodrigues who stepped down at the end of 2017, for all their support, wisdom and work over the past few years.
