Mental Health First Aid Course (Introductory Half Day)
Ideal for: All staff
This is an introductory four-hour session to raise awareness of mental health.
Options: Adult Mental Health Awareness or Young People Mental Health Awareness
This course is designed to give delegates:
- An understanding of what mental health is and how to challenge stigma
- A basic knowledge of some common mental health issues
- An introduction to looking after their own mental health and maintaining wellbeing
- Confidence to support someone in distress or who may be experiencing a mental health issue.

Dates: If you have eight minimum staff for one course, we can discuss a location, time, and date to suit your business. You could book together with another business you know to make up to eight people. Or we can look at existing courses you can join.

Mental Health First Aid Course (Two Days)
Ideal for: Senior Leaders, Managers. HR Professionals
Successful delegates will be a qualified Mental Health First Aider. They will have an in depth understanding of mental health and the factors that can affect wellbeing.
Options: Adult Mental Health Awareness or Young People Mental Health Awareness
It will give delegates:
- Practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues
- Confidence to step in, reassure and support a person in distress
- Enhanced interpersonal skills such as non-judgemental listening
- Knowledge to help someone recover their health by guiding them to further support – whether that’s self-help resources, through their employer, the NHS, or a mix.
