The event organisers pride themselves on being runners themselves and have designed a route that spans the largely flat stunning city as well as the beautiful countryside. Combine this fast route combined with enthusiastic support from the ever so friendly locals and hydration/refreshment stations and it makes an unforgettable event. Alongside your charity, the event organisers offer support in the form of monthly training sessions & seminars.
The Chester Marathon is famous for being an enjoyable event and has won many awards over the years including the Runner’s World best marathon of the year and sweatshop’s best mass participation award.
