We would love your help by sharing a short video or quote about the impact our work has had on preventing a crisis or suicide.
What we’re asking for:
We’d love to hear from you if you’ve found hope, strength, or support through our work.
Maybe the Stay Alive app helped you manage suicidal thoughts, one of our training courses gave you the skills to support someone else, or our suicide prevention hubs provided the information you needed.
Why we’re doing this:
By sharing your story, you can help others see that support and recovery are possible.
What you can share:
- A video (up to 2 minutes). This is preferable.
- A short story (100–400 words) and an image or photo, if you feel comfortable.
- The focus should be a story of hope, recovery, and how Grassroots Suicide Prevention helped you or someone you were concerned about. Please make sure that your story links directly to our services and support.
If you’re wondering what sharing a story might look like, see Ian’s story below for one example of hope and support.
How to take part:
Please fill out our form below if you have a story to tell.
Thank you. Your voice can help others feel less alone and show that hope and support are always within reach.
