We’ve been extended free health cover by Engage Charity Health Fund. Funded by employee benefits specialist, Engage Health Group, the fund is designed to provide employees of small charities with free dental and optical care, physiotherapy, massage, virtual GP, CBT and counselling services.
Earlier this year Grassroots teamed up with accomplished director Martin Percy to make a film about suicide prevention. The film presents an unfolding conversation between two flatmates, Chris and Jason.

Perhaps now more than ever, communities like yours should feel able to recognise and support those thinking of suicide. That’s where we come in.

Last week, Discount Sticker Printing, a custom sticker and label printing company, offered to print us thousands of stickers and a banner.

Our lives have been temporarily turned upside down by the coronavirus pandemic. We are all taking unprecedented measures to protect our physical health and that of the wider public. It’s important that we follow the measures that have been put in place.

Grassroots Suicide Prevention based in Brighton is celebrating today (14th January 2020) after being awarded £400,764 in National Lottery funding to transform its digital capabilities.

“We set up Sibling Link after both our brothers suffered with mental ill health and realized – once we had opened up to each other, how important it was to talk – especially to someone who understands what how distressing it can be to watch or help a sibling go through this.

Hi, my name is Bernie and I’m from Perth, Western Australia. I’m here in Brighton learning from Grassroots as part of an international scholarship.

On 16 May 2019, Grassroots was proud to receive a GSK IMPACT Award at a ceremony at the Science Museum in London along with 9 other charities.

Last month we delivered a Real Talk suicide prevention workshop at the Sea View Centre in Hastings. We ran the session for 15 community members, enabling them to have open and honest conversations about suicide.
