We are thrilled to share that Grassroots Suicide Prevention has been shortlisted for the Digital Revolution Awards in the Tech for Good category, a national award recognising organisations using technology to create meaningful social impact.
Being shortlisted is a huge honour and highlights the potential of digital tools in suicide prevention to provide practical, life-saving support when it’s needed.
Why we’ve been shortlisted: The Stay Alive app
The Tech for Good award celebrates digital solutions that tackle real-world challenges and make a meaningful difference to people’s lives.
We’ve been recognised for our work on Stay Alive, our free, award-winning suicide prevention app that puts practical, immediate support directly into people’s pockets.
With nearly one million downloads, Stay Alive is the UK’s leading suicide prevention app. It’s used by individuals, families and professionals across the country and internationally, offering safety planning tools, coping strategies, and quick access to local and national support services for anyone experiencing suicidal thoughts or worried about someone else.
You can find out more or download the app here.
What happens next
Finalists will be announced at the awards ceremony at Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on 22 April 2026.
We’re incredibly proud to be recognised alongside other organisations using technology to create positive change. Every step like this helps shine a light on the importance of suicide prevention and brings us closer to our vision of a future where more lives are saved from suicide.
Thank you to our partners, supporters, and fundraisers who make this work possible.
